SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL
Previous editions of the Face and Body Winter Forum have attracted enormous interest and have become a permanent fixture in the calendar of key events for the aesthetic medicine sector. Keen to meet the growing expectations of a rapidly evolving medical community and to set the highest educational standards, we have decided to take another milestone step.
This year, we are changing the format of the congress, placing even greater emphasis on interdisciplinarity. Modern aesthetic medicine requires a holistic approach and synergy across many disciplines. We are therefore proud to announce the appointment of a new, expert Scientific Council, which will oversee the academic content of the upcoming edition.
The newly appointed members of the Council are distinguished specialists and practitioners representing various medical disciplines. Their knowledge, experience and uncompromising approach to quality guarantee a programme centred on a multidimensional approach to therapy, the latest scientific findings and safe practice. Thanks to this new structure, this year’s forum will provide participants with the most up-to-date, reliable and, above all, practical knowledge.

Monika Maślińska-Brazulewicz
Dr. Monika Maślińska-Brazulewicz, DDS, is a pediatric dentistry specialist (degree obtained in 2010) with over 20 years of clinical and academic experience, and a graduate of the Medical University of Gdańsk (diploma in 2025).
For several years, she has been the owner of Pure Dental Clinic, where she is responsible for the facility's development vision and the comprehensive planning and coordination of demanding treatment processes. She is a long-time research and teaching fellow at the Medical University of Gdańsk and co-author of scientific publications (including at the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry Congress in the UK). She specializes in advanced prosthetic and implant-based treatment, as well as cosmetic dentistry, including highly aesthetic dental reconstructions. For many years, she has also successfully performed comprehensive oral health procedures under general anesthesia.

Michał Charytonowicz
Plastic Surgery Specialist | CEO and Co-Owner of Warsaw Aesthetic and WeAesthetic Beauty Space
Michał Charytonowicz is a plastic surgery specialist focusing on modern facial surgery, with particular emphasis on the Deep Plane Face & Neck Lift, endoscopic rejuvenation procedures, and advanced face and neck contouring. He is the CEO and co-owner of Warsaw Aesthetic—one of the largest plastic surgery clinics in Poland—and WeAesthetic Beauty Space, a clinic combining plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, regenerative therapies, and modern treatment technologies.
He is known for his approach, combining surgical precision with natural, long-term results and his philosophy of preservation surgery, which aims to preserve normal anatomy, tissue perfusion, and natural facial dynamics. In his work, he places particular emphasis on harmonious rejuvenation rather than artificial tissue tightening. He regularly lectures at international conferences on facial surgery, anatomy, and the synergy of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. He is also the founder and organizer of the Warsaw Aesthetic Meeting—an international congress dedicated to modern facial surgery and aesthetic medicine.
His philosophy is best embodied by three values: natural results, patient safety, and continuous improvement.

Marek Szczyt
An expert in plastic and reconstructive surgery with extensive clinical experience. In his daily practice, he uncompromisingly combines three key values: patient safety, fully natural results, and transparency at every stage of treatment. He specializes primarily in advanced facial surgery, including the Deep Plane Facelift technique (lifting deep facial structures) and rhinoplasty.
Education and Professional Experience:
• 1987 – Diploma from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw.
• First-degree specialization in general surgery – obtained after completing a postgraduate internship at the Department of Surgery of the Institute of Hematology in Warsaw under the supervision of Professor Marek Ziemski.
• Polanica-Zdrój (7 years) – a key step in his career at the Hospital of Plastic Surgery (the cradle of Polish reconstructive surgery and a recognized global center). Under the supervision of Professor Kobus and during internships abroad, he gained experience in the independent and responsible treatment of patients with congenital defects, post-traumatic deformities, and tissue defects.
• He has mastered all microscopic surgical techniques, the principles of laser and endoscopic surgery, as well as complex procedures in craniosacral and maxillofacial surgery.
Scientific and social activities:
• For over 15 years, he has collaborated with the Children's Memorial Health Institute (Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka) on complex cases requiring multi-specialty treatment.
• He continually refines his knowledge and skills at international congresses (including those in the USA, France, Italy, Austria, and Germany).
• He served as a Board Member and Spokesperson for the Polish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (PTChPRiE).
He is the author of educational publications and books promoting knowledge about safe plastic surgery.
His second book, sharing his experience, will be published in the fall.

Magdalena Górska-Ponikowska
Head of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Gdańsk. Visiting Professor at the Universities of Stuttgart (Germany) and Palermo (Italy). The youngest woman to hold the title of professor in the field of medical sciences in Poland.
Author of over 90 scientific publications (IF >200, IH 22) and 10 patents and patent applications in the field of medicine, particularly oncology. Her scientific work involves preclinical and clinical research. Her research focuses on three main areas: experimental oncology, gerontology and dermatology, and neurobiology. She is the co-owner of a cosmetics company and the creator of her own line of dermocosmetics (for facial and scalp care). She initiated postgraduate studies in clinical trichology at the Medical University of Gdańsk.
She was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland, received a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for Outstanding Young Scientists, and was honored with the Sopot Muse in Science award. She also received the Pomeranian Eagle award, awarded for her scientific achievements and contribution to the promotion of science in Pomerania.

Karolina Skonieczna-Żydecka
A recognized expert in the field of gut microbiota and its impact on human health, particularly in the context of the gut-brain axis, she is the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin and the Head of the Department of Biochemical Research. Her interdisciplinary research combines microbiology, biochemistry, and psychiatry, allowing for a comprehensive approach to understanding the role of microbiota in health disorders.
She actively participates in numerous national and international research projects and scientific projects, including the EU project IMMEDIATE, where she is responsible for research using so-called novel foods. She has authored numerous scientific publications, and her achievements have been recognized by the academic community and honored with prestigious awards, including the Award of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Poland.
Professor Skonieczna-Żydecka also conducts intensive teaching and outreach activities, participating in international scientific conferences, where she presents the results of her research on new probiotic-based therapies.

Krzysztof Książek
Pathophysiologist, specializing in the study of cellular senescence with particular emphasis on its role in oncogenesis. Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Poznań Medical University named after Prince Mieszko I. Author of 112 full-text publications with a total IF = 408.569, cited over 3100 times. Hirsch index according to WOS 32. Manager of 4 grants from the National Science Centre OPUS and 1 from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Supervisor of 5 doctoral dissertations and patron in one habilitation proceeding. Reviewer in 4 doctoral proceedings, 6 habilitation proceedings and 3 proceedings for the award of the title of professor. Winner of over 20 prestigious awards and scholarships, including the Scientific Award of the Minister of Health (2021, 2009, 2008, 2007), the Award of the Faculty of Medicine of the Polish Academy of Sciences (2006), the Alfred Smoczyk Award. He is the recipient of the Tadeusz Browicz Prize of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (2017), the Bolesław Skarżyński Prize of the Polish Biochemical Society (2016), and the Scientific Prize of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship (2024). He is a scholarship holder of The Royal Society London (2006), the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2010), and the weekly POLITYKA (2010). In 2021, he was selected by readers of Głos Wielkopolski in the 2020 Personality of the Year plebiscite in the Science category. For his contributions to the development of medicine and public health, he was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland (2020). He is a member of numerous scientific societies, including the European Federation of Biochemical Societies and the European Association for Cancer Research. He serves as an ad hoc reviewer for over 50 international journals.

Jacek Szepietowski
Prof. Dr. hab. Jacek Szepietowski is the Head of the Clinic of Dermatology, Venereology, and Clinical Immunology at the Faculty of Medicine, Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He also works as a professor in the Clinical Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the 4th Military Clinical Hospital in Wrocław. He is an Honorary Doctor of Caucasus International University in Tbilisi, Georgia, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He is currently re-elected President of the Polish Dermatological Society and has served as President of the European Society for Dermatology and Psychiatry (ESDaP), the International Forum for the Study of Itch (IFSI), and Vice President of the International Society of Dermatology (ISD). He is the author of over 900 published scientific papers, 17 books, and over 120 chapters in books and textbooks in Polish and English. The total Impact Factor of published papers is 2999,024 (April 2025), the paper has been cited 24,975 times (WoS excluding self-citations), and the "h" index is 72. Prof. Szepietowski has supervised 40 completed doctoral dissertations; 22 international and national scientific societies have awarded him the title of Honorary Member. His scientific interests focus on pruritus, psychodermatology, and chronic dermatoses, with particular emphasis on hidradenitis supputiva.

Dominik Rachoń
A distinguished endocrinologist and internal medicine specialist. Head of the Department of Clinical and Experimental Endocrinology at the Medical University of Gdańsk. Former member of the Committee on Clinical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and chairman of the Gdańsk branch of the Polish Endocrine Society. Vice-president of the Polish Society of Menopause and Andropause and the Polish PCOS Society. He specializes in gynecological endocrinology, andrology, and transgender care. He also runs the Hormonal Disorders, Hypertension, and Metabolic Diseases Treatment Clinic in Gdynia.

Agnieszka Owczarczyk-Saczonek
Prof. Agnieszka Owczarczyk-Saczonek, MD, PhD, is the Head of the Department of Dermatology, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, and Clinical Immunology at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. She serves as Vice-President of the Polish Dermatological Society and Chair of the Warmia and Mazury Branch of the Polish Dermatological Society. She is also a Regional Consultant in Dermatology and Venereology, a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the European Society for Dermatological Research, and the Association of Aesthetic Dermatologists.
As of September 30, 2025, her total scientific achievements amount to 250,972 Impact Factor (IF) and 9,175 Ministry of Science and Higher Education/State Committee for Scientific Research (KBN) points. My current number of citations is 1,960, and my Hirsch index is 27 (according to the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus). Areas of interest: dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, metabolic diseases, and obesity.
